Eekuipoiz
eekuipoiz is a French Greek company of object manipulation and juggling. The company has developed a personal vocabulary mostly inspired by contemporary dance and visual arts (installations and sculpture).
Founded in 2004 by Xristos Kaoukis and Marion Renard, eekuipoiz is focused on the research of the dramatic, dynamic and lyrical attributes of the object. Since 2007 the company explores various choreographic composition methods with references to the juggling/object manipulation practice in a more metaphorical, physical and emotional manner.
The company considers the presence of the object as a dramatic ‘event’ that has the ability to create a baroque universe which through movement it can portray images of the contemporary environment.
